IMDB rating: 7.40 Plot: Abandoning artistic ambitions, sensitive and club-footed Philip Carey enrolls in medical school and falls in love with illiterate waitress Mildred Rogers. She rejects him, runs off with a salesman and returns unmarried and pregnant. Philip gets her an apartment and they become engaged. Mildred runs off with another medical student. Philip takes her back again when she returns with her baby. She wrecks his apartment and burns the securities he needs to pay tuition. There are some really good books on that list, but I think my choice would be The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, because it’s an excellent book. Sylvia Plath wrote it as fiction, but most of it is actually based on her and her life.

catch 22. its a satire set in late WW2. Its about this guy Yossarian who’se in teh US air force. basically this is the catch 22: if you are insane, you can get out of your service. if you fly a mission, you must be insane. but the second you said you were insane and didnt wat to fly, that would make you sane. if you were sane, you had to go up and fly. so you flew them, therefore were crazy and didnt have to, but if you didnt want to, you were sane, so you had to…its confusing, but sooo good
